Optional Boat fishing and Jungle Trekking are available too. The Kelong is just beside Endau town, about 35km further up from Mersing Town. Transport services are available from Mersing Town.

Prawning is becoming one of the fastest growing pastime of young Singaporean Adults and definitely Singaporean Teenagers. It is very exciting to catch your own prawns after hours of patient waiting catching them only after a better understanding of your bait and rod techniques to a better catch. SINGAPORE PRAWNING TECHNIQUES

1) Secure the hook to the bottom of the rod

2) Hold the rod vertically, Dip rod into the water

3) Adjust the float and leave the float about 1 inch above water

4) Remember to keep baits fresh and change it every 10min

5) Observe the float and wait for it to sink

6) Slowly lift the rod and gave it a light snap

7) Transfer safely the prawn into the fishing net


Types of baits used: Cockles, worms, chicken liver etc.
Baits given depends on paid prawn pond operators choice.
